The mission of the Laurel Economic Development office is to improve the economic well-being of the Community of Laurel, through efforts that entail job creation, job retention, tax base enhancements and quality of life, by encouraging and coordinating economic activity and community improvement.

Advisory Board
The Economic Development (ED) Advisory Board meets each month at noon at the City Office. The ED Advisory Board provides direction, feedback, and oversight of the ED Office.
